Bostwick Consistometer (CSC Scientific)
Popular for measuring consistency, flow rate and viscosity in a variety of viscous materials. Use on any product, including dairy products, sauces and salad dressings, where you want to measure the distance a material flows in a given time interval. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and is suitable for laboratory and plant use. It uses little bench space and requires only 75 mL of sample. Features instantaneous gate release, which prevents premature flowing of sample. Two leveling screws and spirit levels offer precise positioning of flow angle. Engraved graduations of 0.5 cm divisions assures accurate results.
