These Corning^® Digital Display Pyroceram Stirrers feature a digital, easy-to-read LED that indicates stir speed— ideal for labs that need to establish routine protocols. Microprocessor-controlled feedback technology maintains consistent repeatable stir speeds.

The flat, bright-white Pyroceram® brand glass ceramic top provides uniform heating and better contrast during applications that monitor color changes. Easy-to-clean tops are highly resistant to scratches, corrosion, and chemicals. The housing features an external spill trough to deflect spills away from electronics and control knobs. Enclosed and sealed electronics protect sensitive components from harsh environments.

Models with stirring capability feature a closed-loop stirring control that monitors and regulates speed. The microprocessor automatically adjusts motor strength to accommodate aqueous, viscous, or semisolid solutions. Automatic adjustment to large increases in speed minimizes decoupling. Stirrers include stir bar.

All units include a built-in mount that accepts a standard support rod for a thermometer, electrode, or buret; and a guide to heating and stirring procedures. All models are UL-listed.
