Eppendorf Reference 2 Adjustable Volume Pipettes
The Eppendorf Reference 2 Adjustable Volume Pipettes are the successor to the popular Reference pipette and enhances the pipettes already high standards with a new look, reduced weight and operating forces and multi-channel versions. As the premium product in Eppendorf’s pipette portfolio, the Reference 2 provides the most accurate results possible alongside robust, reliable handling and optimum user safety. These levels of security make the Reference 2 ideal for use with precious liquids, or in any application requiring extremely high levels of accuracy. When there can be no compromise on quality and reproducibility, Eppendorf’s new Reference 2 is an ideal instrument.
The Reference 2 pipette includes a unique one button operating system, which features lower operating forces for aspiration/dispensing/tip ejection to limit strain on the user. Users can move more quickly by not having to move the thumb from side to side to eject tips. Aerosol contamination is considerably reduced due to the ability to eject a tip immediately following dispensing.
The multi-channel option allows for higher throughput, with spring loaded tip cones to increase reproducibility among users in the lab (can be turned off with the flip of a switch).
Volume lock prevents accidental changes and with an always visible 4-digit display, increased security is provided for the most stringent lab environments.
