Heathrow Scientific Droplet Blood Collection Trays

These Heathrow Droplet^™ Blood Collection Trays were developed through extensive research in clinics and hospitals with working phlebotomists. They feature a sturdy plastic frame with economical, disposable inserts specifically designed for blood collection.

Keeping the tray clean and organized has never been easier. The tray can be washed as needed and inserts can be replaced periodically for a fresh start. Tray inserts come in two configurations and include an extra-deep compartment for a sharps container. Trays feature a supply drawer, side pockets and a ratcheting handle with soft rubber grip that rotates out of the way for easy access. Each tray comes with either a 13 mm or a 16 mm Heathrow OneRack™ test tube rack and two disposable polystyrene inserts. Additional inserts are sold in packs of 4.

Droplet blood collection trays can hold up to 11 urine sample containers. The inserts for these trays have nine spaces for round containers for up to a 59mm maximum diameter and two square spaces for containers that are up to a 64mm diameter. Inserts come with grid pieces for the two square spaces and can store either 4 (50ml) tubes or 9 (15ml) tubes, depending on set-up. Polystyrene inserts are sold in packs of four and include eight polystyrene grid pieces. Inserts are stackable. Insert measures 368 x 210 x 80mm.

The lid is custom designed for a snug fit and provides access to the tray handle in its vertical position. There are two holes on the lid top corners that allow standard cable ties to thread through for secure storage. The lid is made of polystyrene and is stackable. It measures 420 x 240 x 205mm. Pockets clip on to both ends of the droplet. They can be used in tandem with the droplet lid and easily removed for cleaning. They are ideal for point of care products such as portable printers and portable scanners. They are stackable. The pocket measures 230 x 110 x 105mm
