Molded of high-density acetal polymer, the write-on cassettes resist heat, microwaves, solvents, decalcifying agents and fit standard steel or plastic bases. They will not float in water baths, and keep specimens safely submerged while the efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and drainage. The lids, packaged separately, can be removed and reinserted easily without the danger of specimen loss. Cassette colors are non-cytotoxic and non-metallic.
