Nalgene Plastic Capless Round Bottom Centrifuge Tubes
Thermo Scientific Nalgene Plastic Capless Round Bottom Centrifuge Tubes are designed with polypropylene copolymer (PPCO), polycarbonate (PC), polysulfone (PSF), and FEP for increased chemical resistance. All resins used are noncytotoxic.
The Capless Centrifuge Tubes can withstand centrifugation speeds of up to 50,000 x g. Friction-fit polypropylene closures can be ordered separately. Tubes can be autoclaved multiple times without structural deterioration.
Uniform wall thickness and diameter ensures superior rotor fit performance. Nalgene® Plastic Capless Round Bottom Centrifuge Tubes can be used in both refrigerated and non-refrigerated centrifuges. Both lipless and lipped versions of the 50mL tube are available.
Note: Tubes should be filled to at least 80% capacity for best performance results.
