Nalgene Plastic Round Bottom Oak Ridge Centrifuge Tubes with Sealing Cap

Thermo Scientific Nalgene Plastic Round Bottom Oak Ridge Centrifuge Tubes with Sealing Cap are for use up to 50,000 x g in refrigerated or non-refrigerated centrifuges. Autoclaving repeatedly will shorten the life of polycarbonate tubes. Strong and transparent, these plastic centrifuge tubes can be autoclaved repeatedly. All resins are noncytotoxic. FEP tubes must be spun at refrigerated temperatures. Tube materials include polypropylene copolymer (PPCO), polycarbonate (PC), polysulfone (PSF), and FEP. Caps are ETFE for FEP tubes/bottles and PP for all other tubes.

Screw Cap Oak Ridge Centrifuge Tubes with Sealing Cap are supplied with screw caps that have silicone gaskets for extra leak protection. To assure leak-proof service at maximum RCF’s or with hazardous materials, use sealing caps. Sealing caps have a retained silicone gasket (non-FEP tubes) or ETFE plug with Viton O-ring (for FEP tubes). Both meet OSHA standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
