Quantitative Papers: Ashless Grade 41 are Type Grade 41 with an ash percentage of 0.007. They are produced under carefully controlled conditions to ensure low ash levels with progressively increasing wet strengths.
They are excellent for gravimetric analysis and for preparative stages of analysis involving instrumental techniques such as atomic absorption (AA) spectrophotometry and infrared (IR) analysis. Diameters listed below are the most popular. Sizes down to 2.2 cm and up to 50cm are available.
The Type Grade 41 is the fastest ashless filter paper recommended for analytical procedures involving coarse products or gelatinous precipitates.
