Zoom Microscopes

This National Optical Zoom Microscopes provides exceptional stereo zoom at a very reasonable price. Pictures can be viewed at 10 times magnification. It zooms all the way to 30 times for a close up view. By turning the object turret, magnification can be changed from 10x to 30x and other points in between. An achromatic optical system provides a sharp, parfocalled image throughout the zoom range without refocusing.

The paired widefield 10x eyepieces are 45 degrees inclined with a left diopter adjustment and interpupillary adjustment from 55mm to 75mm. It accepts a 23mm eyepiece reticule. The viewing head rotates 360 degrees. It has achromatic, color corrected lenses and continuous magnification from 10x to 30x.

Illumination is 12v 10 watt halogen with reflector with a directional lever that places the light exactly where it is needed. A bottom light is 110v 5 watt fluorescent for cool operation and greater light efficiency. The base mounted light controls top only, bottom only or dual illumination. It comes with a heavy-duty 3-wire grounded cord and plug.

The device features large dual focusing knobs with a slip clutch to prevent damage to the mechanism. It also has heavy duty rack and pinion focusing. There is a tension adjustment that eliminates focus drift. The microscope includes an 80 mm stage plate (black plastic contrast); 80 mm stage plate (translucent white plate): blue filter for transmitted light and locked-on stage clips.

The microscope has an all-metal frame in a gray enamel finish. It features a heavy-duty fixed arm with ergonomic design. It is 317mm (12-1/2 in.) tall. Its base is 215mm *81/2 inc) wide, 220 mm (83/4 inn.) wide and it weighs 4 kgs (9 lbs.). The device comes with a lifetime limited warranty that excludes bulb, cord and fuse.
